Carole voulait une robe de mariée avec une traine. Ce qui n'était pas facile a intégrer dans un patron sans chute. Je suis très contente de cette première robe de mariée car j'ai réussi à combiner les critères de Carole tout en respectant les valeurs de couture d'Ecojolie.
Carole a eu l'idée d'utiliser la lisière du tissu pour nouer son bouquet. C'était une très chouette idée pour aller encore plus dans l'optimisation de la matière.
Il a fallut :
3 essayages de toiles, retouches
20h de broderie pour les perles @laperleriedinan
2 semaines de couture
1 essayage pour la robe
2m70 de crêpe pour le tissu principal

🌙Magnolia dress
Carole wanted a wedding dress with a train. This was not easy to incorporate into a zero waste pattern. I'm very happy with this first wedding dress because I managed to combine Carole's criteria while respecting Ecojolie's sewing values.
Carole had the idea of using the edge of the fabric to tie her bouquet. It was a great idea to get even more out of the material.
It took :
3 fabric fittings, alterations
20 hours of embroidery for the beads
2 weeks sewing
1 fitting for the dress
2m70 of crepe for the main fabric

Le bandeau est élastiqué derrière la tête.
Il peut vous permettre d'utiliser des chutes de tissu trop petites pour couper un vêtement : soit en divisant le patron et en mixant des chutes de tissu ou en utilisant le patron avec les pièces imbriquées.
Chaque étape de montage est accompagnée d'un dessin détaillé fait à la main.

You can use scraps of fabric that are too small to cut a garment : either by dividing the pattern and mixing scraps of fabric or by using the pattern with interlocking pieces.

Quand Carole a fait appel à moi pour sa robe de mariée, je lui ai répondu : Ok mais sans chute de tissu! Elle m'a répondu ok ,mais je veux une traine, un dos nu...! J'avoue que je n'étais pas sereine à l'idée de relever le défi, mais j'ai noté tout ce qui était important à ses yeux.✨️
C'est une robe de mariée "mini chute" puisque j'ai recouvert les boutons de la robe avec le tissu et cela a généré des toutes petites miettes de chutes.
Carole s'est prise au jeu puis qu'elle a récupéré la lisière du tissu pour nouer son bouquet de mariée.💐
Je prépare une vidéo sur la conception et les étapes de cette première robe de mariée ainsi que la photo de ces mini chutes.
Après des mois de recherches, d'incertitudes et de noeuds dans le cerveau pour imbriquer chaque pièce de cette robe, elle a enfin vu le jour pour le mariage de Carole et Valentin.

🌙Magnolia dress for Carole.
When Carole asked me to make her wedding dress, I replied: OK, but without fabric waste! She replied ok, but I want a train, a bare back...! I have to admit that I wasn't quite ready to take up the challenge, but I made a note of everything that was important to her.
It's a ‘mini fall’ wedding dress because I covered the buttons on the dress with the fabric and this created tiny crumbs of off-cuts.
Carole really got into the spirit of the challenge when she recovered the selvedge of the fabric to tie her bridal bouquet.
I'm preparing a video on the design and stages of this first wedding dress, as well as a photo of these mini scraps.
After months of research, uncertainty and knots in the brain to fit each piece of this dress together, it finally saw the light of day for Carole and Valentin's wedding.

J'ai cousu une série de bandeaux. J'ai mis au point le patron qui est zéro chute évidemment. Cela fait un moment que je réfléchis à un patron pour utiliser les extrémités de laize ou de coupons de tissu. Parfois, lorsqu'un coupon ou une laize est un peu plus grand que le patron utilisé, cela crée une bande de chute de tissu rectangle qui est plus facile à utiliser qu'une chute biscornue.
Evidemment on peut garder les bandes pour couper des poches ou autres petits accessoires mais je me suis dite que ça pouvait être sympa de faire un bandeau de tête.
Les bandeaux sont en taille unique et élastiqués à l'arrière.
Je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de créer mes étiquettes produit zéro chute, c'est contagieux cette technique. Une fois que l'on commence, on reporte dans tous les gestes quotidiens.😅
Il y a différents tissus disponibles (coton, tencel, viscose...), jersey ou tissu non extensible et différentes couleurs disponibles ( noir, bleu marine, rose, fleuri, toile de jouy, motif feuille...). N'hésitez pas à me contacter par message si vous êtes intéressé et autour de Laval (53) (si envoi, ajouter les frais de port).
Chaque bandeau est au prix de 29.90 euros.
Je prépare le patron et le tuto autour de la rentrée j'espère. Pour le moment je suis en train de finaliser un patron de pantalon avec une grande extension de taille qui va sortir dans les semaine à venir je l'espère.

J'ai un peu la pression car cela fait longtemps que je n'ai pas travaillé de robe de mariée et j'avais plutôt pour habitude de réaliser les patrons.
C'est un grand défi pour moi de réussir à monter cette robe en soie. Mali me soutient moralement donc tout va bien. 🥰

![[En below] Capucine et Lalie ont fait un atelier de 2 heures avec moi pendant les vacances. Elles ont choisi des chutes de tissu pour coudre leur pochette avec leur prénom brodé.
Comme d'habitude, Malicia a tenu à être sur la photo et a profité de l'occasion pour recevoir pleins de caresses.
Capucine et Lalie avaient reçu cette carte cadeau pour noël, elles ont été super attentives et ont mis beaucoup de coeur dans la réalisation de leur pochette.

🌙Capucine and Lalie did a 2-hour workshop with me during the holidays. They chose fabric scraps to sew their pouch with their first name embroidered on it.
As usual, Malicia wanted to be in the photo and took the opportunity to receive lots of hugs.
Capucine and Lalie had received this gift card for Christmas, and they were super attentive and put a lot of heart into making their pouch.

Cet atelier s'adressait aux débutants. Nous avons cousu un petit pochon avec des boutonnières et des coutures anglaises.
L'occasion pour les participantes de découvrir la couture anglaise sur un petit projet.
Le patron et le tuto du pochon sont téléchargeables gratuitement sur le site. ( Pochon Saule en version couture anglaise ou pochon Mélisse en version surfil.)

🌙Here's a look back at Saturday's sewing workshop at Comptoir of Céline.
This workshop was aimed at beginners. We sewed a little pouch with buttonholes and English seams.
It was an opportunity for the participants to discover English sewing on a small project.
The pattern and tutorial for the pouch can be downloaded free of charge from the website. (Pochon Saule in the English sewing version or Pochon Mélisse in the overcasting version).
